“Young People are at the heart of everything we do”
The time and attention that our Young People whom come to stay with us at YMCA ChurchView benefit from is an amazing start for their transition from leaving care situations on into the world today, guided safely and attentively by our support team. They are offered not only a place to call home, a private and a communal space to relax and feel welcomed, but a wealth of understanding and kindness that will put them firmly on the right track to manage all that life will offer them in the next stage of their lives.
Young People are at the heart of what we do
Staff here are some of the industries most dedicated and hard working that there is and the image above is just an ordinary day at our ChurchView site where one of our young people is enjoying a guitar and drum session with our Housing Support Worker; not bad for a first try, well done all.
Self Image is important to our Young People
We care about our Young People and also what our young people care about; staff alway make time to encourage our young people to feel good about themselves, to be confident in who they are and what they can offer today’s world.
Here’s just a few of our images from a brief hair dressing session with another one of our multi talented staff members; needless to say the results were very welcomed.
