Home to Vulnerable Young People who are cared for across Wearside by a dedicated team of staff over multiple sites 24/7. With educational and employability support and training including encouragement toward move on goals to live independently within the Wearside area.
We are proud of what we achieved last year…
HOUSING
We housed and supported over 4,500 young people across our multiple sites last year.
INDEPENDANCE
Over 200 young people moved on to live independently last year
TRAINING
More than 40 young people took part in our Employ-ability Training during the last academic year.
YMCA enables people to develop their potential in mind and body by creating supportive, inclusive and energising communities, where young people can truly belong, contribute and thrive.
