YMCA Harvester
Based in the Coalfields Area of the city, The Harvesters is a 7 bed purpose build, this project was designed on ideas and recommendations from young people who are preparing to leave their current children’s home.
Outreach
We have nine shared houses all within walking distance of Sunderland City Centre and a Seven Bed Site at Houghton-Le-Spring, all are fully furnished with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and supplied with new bedding etc
YMCA Sunderland
The YMCA Sunderland offers accommodation to 16 to 35 year old’s, the site has 24 self-contained flats and an emergency bed. Tenants are given a 6 month Assured Short hold tenancy promoting stability and security in their own home, move on accommodation is then offered through our Future lettings accommodation.
YMCA Chester le Street
YMCA Chester le Street was officially opened in May 2012 and offers fully furnished accommodation to 16 to 35 year olds. The project has 14 fully furnished, shared flats, which accommodates 30 people.
YMCA Churchview
Based in the Sunderland Area, Churchview is an 8 bed purpose build, this project was designed on ideas and recommendations from young people who are preparing to leave their current children’s home.
